The Miami Heat will search for a bounce back win in the second leg of a back-to-back versus the 15th seed Pelicans at home.

After a disappointing Miami Heat loss to the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night, this Heat team continues to seemingly take one step forward for two steps back.
It looked like they were finally starting to turn a corner again during their four-game win streak, highlighted by a signature win against the top seed Detroit Pistons. However, their latest loss snapped their streak and dropped them back to a 19-16 record. The Heat entered Saturday as the East’s sixth seed and just a half game out of fourth, but now are right back to eighth.
They will hope to return to their winning ways and bounce back versus the visiting New Orleans Pelicans on the second night of a back-to-back inside Kaseya Center.
The Pelicans are currently the 15th and worst seed in the Western Conference at an abysmal 8-28 record. They have lost six of their last 10 games and are dealing with injuries to several key players on their roster. Miami’s injury report has not been released yet, but expect Tyler Herro to be sidelined again— along with potentially another pair of key rotation players in Pelle Larsson and Jaime Jaquez Jr.
In last night’s loss to the Wolves, Norman Powell was the only Heat player to score over 20+ points. That notion will have to change tonight. Look for guys like Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins and Kel’el Ware to put more of an imprint on the game offensively.
