A soap newcomer who appeared on Corriedale with suspicious links to Emmerdale and Coronation Street has sent fans into meltdown.
Jodie appeared as a mystery woman tied up in the back of a van. during the special hour-long crossover episode on Monday (January 5)
The dramatic instalment took a shocking turn when the driver turned out to be none other than former Emmerdale resident Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough)
Fans will remember Graham was seemingly killed off in a whodunnit back in 2020 but in Corriedale, he was confirmed alive as he spoke on the phone to a mystery person, watching on as an hospitalised Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) spoke with nurses about his injuries following the fatal multi-car collision.
Joe spoke about missing Jodie, who had gotten away and fled into the woods, before becoming injured.
When a tattoo on her wrist was shown on screen, it seemingly revealed a connection to Coronation Street’s Shona Platt (Julia Goulding.

The camera panned from Jodie’s tattoo to an oblivious Shona’s one on her back, before she was seen with David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) at the same hospital. The tattoos both looked very similar but are they related?
Fans are convinced they’ved rumbled out who Jodie really is, and how she’s linked to Shona.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, One fan said: “Jodie is gonna be Shona’s sister isn’t she #Corriedale.”
A second social media user tweeted: “Wait who’s that girl with the tattoo like Shona’s? Has she got a sister?”
A third fan added: “Jodie is related to Shona?? #corriedale”
Another viewer replied: “I kept thinking she looked like Shona before the tattoo camera work.”

While Jodie’s background is yet to be addressed, Fans may recognise Corrie newcomer Olivia Frances Brown for her roles in TV series Boiling Point, as well as thriller The Gathering.
She is also a jazz singer, known for her debut single “Shade of Red”.
Olivia has racked up 17,900 followers on Instagram, with many fans engaging in her regular posts. Her profile reads: “Probably singing jazz standards somewhere.”
The actress is in a happy relationship with award-winning actor James Nelson Joyce.
