Nebraska’ Braden Frager takes shot at Jeremy Fears Jr. on Instagram

In a game that was largely civil, coached by two men who have a lot of respect for each other in Tom Izzo and Fred Hoiberg, one of the most dramatic moments was between a Nebraska bench player, Braden Frager, who decided to taunt Michigan State point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. after hitting a three-pointer. The move led to a technical foul, and then Frager committed a cylinder foul just moments later, letting Fears head to the line multiple times and put the game back within reach.
Editor’s note: Frager has since deleted the post and reportedly reached out to Fears to apologize.
On Saturday, Frager decided to take to Instagram to continue his taunting of Fears, posting the image of his taunting gesture with the caption ‘Fear None’:
You can be the judge if you think this is playful fun or negative taunting. No matter what, it will definitely help spark this into a bit of a rivalry, and I’m sure MSU will be hoping that they get another chance at Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament, as they don’t meet again in the regular season.
