Wrong-way crash kills 2 people, injures woman and 2-year-old in Totowa, New Jersey

TOTOWA, New Jersey (WABC) — A wrong-way crash on westbound I-80 in Totowa, New Jersey claimed the lives of two people on Monday morning.
The multi-vehicle crash happened just after 2:08 a.m.
New Jersey troopers said a Honda sedan driven by 30-year-old Albin Fermin of Newark was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes.
A Buick SUV driven by 60-year-old Joanne Furman with two passengers inside, 24-year-old Imani Alexis Furman and a 2-year-old child, all from Norwich, Connecticut, was struck.
The Honda hit the Buick head-on.
As a result of the crash, the driver of the Honda and Imani Alexis Furman died from their injuries.
Joanne Furman was seriously injured and the 2-year-old child suffered moderate injuries. They were rushed to an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
