FORECAST FIRST ALERT: Freezing rain creating slick conditions

Good Tuesday morning!

*A Forecast First Alert is in effect until 9am today for slick roads*

Rain and mixed rain/freezing rain will end early this morning followed by foggy and damp weather for the rest of the day. A few flurries will be possible this afternoon.

Expect slick roads this morning, especially city and town roads and your sidewalk and driveway. The temperatures will hover right around 32 degrees, so again, slick spots are expected to last for the first few hours of the morning.

Expect lower to middle 30’s today and for most of the rest of the week.

Temperatures tonight will dip into the 20’s so expect a refreeze overnight and early Wednesday.

Skies will vary from mostly cloudy to partly sunny starting Wednesday, before an area of light snow develops late Friday night with minor accumulations of snow possible into early Saturday morning as colder air moves into the state.

Have a great day!
