‘Enola Holmes 3’ First Look Drops as Netflix Touts 2026 Film Slate: ‘Heartstopper’ Finale, ‘Peaky Blinders,’ Tyler Perry and More

Here come the 2026 Netflix movies, starting with an anticipated look at “Stranger Things” alum Millie Bobby Brown’s first post-upside-down project.
The streamer dropped a slew of release dates for feature projects including a new batch of Tyler Perry films, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s ongoing reteaming via Artists Equity and more titles across genres.
Brown is back with the third installment of “Enola Holmes,” based on a book series about the mystery adventures of Sherlock’s younger sister. This time around she’s headed to Malta with Louis Partridge (“House of Guinness”), where a longline tells us her character’s “personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.” Hitting this summer, the supporting cast features Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, Himesh Patel and Sharon Duncan-Brewster.
More details have been shared about the feature film finale to “Heartstopper,” a queer youth romance that captivated global audiences (and now has renewed relevance in wake of the massive crossover success of “Heated Rivalry”). Here, leads Joe Locke and Kit Connor will grapple with the end of adolescence and the start of complicated adult matters — like long-distance relationships.
“Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet,” says an official logline. “Meanwhile, their friends are also navigating the ups and downs of love and friendship, confronting the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving on. Can first loves really last forever?” The film is set for some time this year.
Perry has two films on deck this year, including “Joe’s College Road Trip,” which follows Madea’s extended family, coming Feb. 13. Later this year, he’ll also release a sequel to “Why Did I Get Married?” and “The Gospel of Christmas.”
Fans of “Peaky Blinders” will be happy to know that the series’ film installment, “The Immortal Man,” will hit select theaters on March 6 and come to streaming on March 20. Cillian Murphy returns for the project where, “amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground.”
Elsewhere on the slate: Tracy Morgan and Cedric the Entertainer have joined Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple in the voice cast of Skydance Animation’s “Swapped”; Alan Ritchson, handsome giant of “Reacher” fame, will release “War Machine” on March 6 costarring Dennis Quaid, Stephan James and Jai Courtney; and Sally Field makes her Netflix debut as a widow whose unlikely friendship with an octopus leads to growth in “Remarkably Bright Creatures” for May 8.
