LAKE DELTON, Wis. (WMTV) – A year-round attraction in the Wisconsin Dells gives people the opportunity to explore a canyon and experience thousands of lights each night.
Aquavia Lumina, An Enchanted Night Walk through a Canyon of Wonders, is a nighttime attraction now open at the Wilderness Resort, 39 Hillman Road in Lake Delton. Starting at dusk, people can follow a pathway through a canyon that tells a story of a mystical deer on a journey with lighting effects, projection and music.
Trevor Hirst, the director of attractions at Wilderness resort said he’s still in awe of the attraction every time he goes through it.
“Every time it gives me the goosebumps,” Hirst said. “When I first walk into the portal it makes you kinda shiver and just give you the wow effect.”
Aquavia Lumina is the 21st Lumina Enchanted Night Walk. It’s part of an international series created by Moment Factory. The experience is considered family-friendly and takes 45 to 60 minutes to enjoy. The journey begins at the Aquavia Lumina Welcome Center at the Wilderness.
