Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Wednesday launched calls for a member of the club’s frontline to be afforded a more prominent role in Hansi Flick’s XI.
The player in question? Roony Bardghji.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, in a Spanish Super Cup semi-final showdown with Athletic Club.
And the Blaugrana, as things stand, find themselves cruising towards the tournament’s finale, leading by a hefty five goals to nil.
The aforementioned Roony was for his part afforded a rare start for the evening, and has since taken full advantage.
With Lamine Yamal on the bench, the young Swede has lit up the fixture, courtesy of touch, dribbling, passing and more.
He has been decisive in the final third, too, to the tune of a goal and two assists.
And such exploits have not gone at all overlooked on the part of the Barcelona faithful…
