Fallout 3 And New Vegas Remakes, Wolfenstein 3, New Warcraft Mobile Games Are Rumored

A new report claims to have information on some of the upcoming unannounced games coming from Xbox, including a Fallout: New Vegas remake, a StarCraft shooter, a new Warcraft game, and more.

Windows Central reported that a remake of the beloved 2010 RPG from Obsidian is in the works, alongside the previously rumored remake of Fallout 3. These may not be the only Bethesda projects in the works, as the report said id Software may be working on a third Wolfenstein game to coincide with the upcoming Wolfenstein TV series for Prime Video.

Back in September 2025, Machine Games creative director Axel Torvenius straight-up mentioned a third game in an interview, so it would be no surprise.

“We have always seen this as a [Wolfenstein] trilogy,” Torvenius said during a Wolfenstein documentary by Noclip. “So that journey for B.J., even during those first few weeks at id, when we mapped out New Order, we still had the plan for, at least, that character. What will happen in the second one, what will happen in the third one. So I think that’s important to say, because–at least, I hope–that we’re not done with Wolfenstein yet. We have a story to tell.”

Kotaku also reported that a third new Wolfenstein game is coming.

Bethesda boss Todd Howard previously alluded to major reveals for Fallout coming up, saying Fallout is the Bethesda series that the company is “doing the most in” currently.

The report also stated that a new Warcraft game for mobile could be in the works, with the claim being that such a project is now in “gestation.” Additionally, the report said a new StarCraft third-person shooter will be revealed at BlizzCon this September.

2026 is the 35th anniversary of Blizzard, and the company’s president, Johanna Faries, said 2026 will be Blizzard’s “biggest year yet.” It’s also the 40th anniversary of Bethesda this year.

There will be an Xbox Developer Direct this month, but the Windows Central report didn’t have any concrete info on what may be shown. “I have heard one of Microsoft’s more intrepid teams may be ready to show off what it has been baking,” the report said.

What’s more, the report said Hellblade studio Ninja Theory is now making a “more combat-involved and interactive” game than Hellblade 1 and 2. Additionally, the report claimed that Call of Duty will come to Switch 2 this year, but it remains to be seen which title this may be.

The report didn’t dig deep into specifics on any of the rumored upcoming projects, but keep checking back with GameSpot for more. We have contacted Microsoft for comment.
