Louisville vs Miami score, UofL women’s basketball game updates

Louisville women’s basketball coach Jeff Walz reflects on 19 seasons
In his 19th season, Louisville women’s basketball coach Jeff Walz received his 499th victory after the Cardinals defeated SMU 91-58 on New Year’s Day.
Tricia Cullop was a few days ahead of Jeff Walz in reaching 500 wins.
Both coaches beat Virginia Tech last week to become two of the 28 active Division I women’s basketball head coaches to achieve the feat. Cullop and the Miami Hurricanes are hosting Walz and the 11th-ranked Louisville Cardinals to see which coach can reach No. 501 first. Cullop missed on the opportunity Sunday when Miami fell to Clemson, 70-55, while today’s game is Walz’s first opportunity.
The game originally was scheduled for 7 p.m. but moved up four hours to accommodate the Hurricanes’ CFP game against Ole Miss, slated for 7:30 p.m. at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
