Florian Wirtz: We want more and have to get better

A long-range strike from Harrison Reed in the final seconds cancelled out Cody Gakpo’s finish that saw the Reds recover to go 2-1 up in the 94th minute.
The result did mean Arne Slot’s men extended their unbeaten run to nine matches in all competitions, though there was frustration they could not do so with a victory.
Reflecting on the draw when speaking to Sky Sports post-match, Wirtz said: “Not satisfied at all. I think we need points, we wanted three points.
“We know there’s no easy game in this league. Especially how we came back, three points would have been [a] must-have.
“I think again we are in a bit of a difficult situation now because we drew two times – first at home and now today. That’s not what we want – we want more.
“We have to get better but it’s still a process and hopefully [in the] next game we are there again.”
