Two sisters, father identified in Winneconne death investigation

WINNECONNE, Wis. (WBAY) — The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, the Winneconne Police Department, and the Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office are releasing the identities of the three people found dead inside a Winneconne home late last week:

Authorities say sisters Lenora Manke, age 11, and Jaeylyn Manke, age 16, were found dead along with their father, Jeffrey Manke, age 57.

The investigation into these deaths remains ongoing.

According to the Winneconne Police Department and Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called Friday night for a medical incident and welfare check at a home in the 500 block of Division Street. Three people were found dead inside.

Investigators said the incident appears to be isolated and there is no threat to the public. Police have not released additional details. The investigation is ongoing.

Family and friends have been mourning the two sisters.
