Sadie Sink Goes Vintage on ‘Tonight Show’

Sadie Sink channeled timeless elegance with a touch of modernity in her vintage Claude Montana look for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday in New York City.

The “Stranger Things” actress and Tony Award nominee wore a sleeveless black silky top with a pair of high-waisted trousers designed in a billowing, wide-leg silhouette for her late-night talk show stint, where she discussed the finale episode of the aforementioned Netflix series.

Styled by Molly Dickson, Sink’s attire wholly exuded power dressing. The silhouette, while still feminine, created clean lines and a commanding, tailored approach. Sink’s entire look was mostly pared back, with her vintage ensemble the centerpiece of her late-night look.

As for glam, though, Sink introduced a slightly new beauty element for 2026. The actress’ hair, styled by Tommy Buckett, incorporated a fresh fringe factor for the actress’ rich red hairdo, which also featured soft, cascading curls. Her makeup, by artist Mary Wiles, included highlights like bold brows and a youthful soft pink lip.

Holding the moniker “King of the Shoulder Pad” throughout the 1980s, Claude Montana died at the age of 76 in February 2024. Along with other designers like Thierry Mugler and Jean Paul Gautier, Montana was credited as a trailblazer and an avant-garde fashion provocateur.

“I worked with him for 17 years, on women’s, men’s, licenses and Lanvin, and he was just extraordinary. He was a great friend and teacher. His discipline in cutting was unlike anyone else’s — he would cut and recut and make sure the clothes were perfect,” milliner Stephen Jones said of the late designer.

Sadie Sink appears alongside series stars Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder and David Harbour, among others, in the final season of “Stranger Things.” Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, the science fiction Netflix show inspired, by ’80s pop culture and film, debuted on the streaming platform in 2016. All episodes are now available to watch.
