Producers Guild Awards 2026 Nominations List

It’s been a busy week for awards nominations, and now the Producers Guild of America is out with its hopefuls for the PGA Awards spanning film and TV. See the list below.

Vying for the guild’s top film prize — the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures — are Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, Sentimental Value, Sinners, Train Dreams and Weapons.

The list is a who’s-who of 2026 awards contenders, but includes one big surprise with the inclusion of Zach Cregger’s well-reviewed horror hit Weapons, which hadn’t popped up on any precursor Best Picture list before today. It also comes from Warner Bros, which — with One Battle After Another, Sinners and its distribution deal for Apple’s F1 — has four of the 10 nominees.

In a world where the pending WBD-Netflix sale was complete already, that one company would have six of the Big 10, counting Netflix’s Frankenstein and Train Dreams.

Among the awards-season regulars not in the PGA’s finals are Wicked: For Good, Jay Kelly, Avatar: Fire and Ash — the first two in the franchise were nominated — Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere and any foreign-language film other than Norway’s Sentimental Value, which was not included in SAG’s Actor Awards or DGA noms and is ineligible at WGA. So this was a bit of a relief for Neon on that Cannes-debuting film.

The PGA’s Zanuck Award certainly is an Oscar bellwether category and has aligned with the Best Picture Academy Award winner for 17 of the past 22 years. Last year followed suit as the Producers Guild gave its award to Sean Baker’s Anora.

The guild revealed its Sports, Children’s, Shortform and Documentary noms and Innovation Award finalists in December. Its 2026 career honorees include Amy Pascal (David O. Selznick Achievement Award), Mara Brock Akil (Norman Lear Achievement Award) and Jason Blum (Milestone Award).

Winners will be feted at the 37th PGA Awards on February 28 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
