REGINA, SK. – Matt Spencer-Dahl stopped all 25 shots he faced, and Yibin Yoo notched the winner as the Melville Millionaires blanked the Kindersley Klippers 1-0 on Thursday.
It was MSD’s second shutout of the year in only six appearances, and the 2005-born net minder has only given up seven goals over that span.
The win moved Melville into a tie for the eighth and final playoff spot with the Humboldt Broncos, although the Broncos have two games in hand.
In a wild one in North Battleford, the home North Stars rallied from down 3-1 and 4-2 and ultimately beat the Weyburn Red Wings 9-5.
North Stars forwards Anthony Campbell and Josh Knittig both counted two goals and two assists on the night, while Weyburn’s Will Munro posted five assists in the defeat.
Battlefords has now scored 19 goals in three games in 2026 and has come from behind to win in their last four contests.
