Bills running backs James Cook III and Ray Davis make NFL All-Pro Teams

Ray Davis, First-Team All-Pro Special Teams

Davis also earned recognition for his success on special teams in 2025. He returned 31 kickoffs in the regular season for 943 yards and one touchdown. This made up a majority of his 1,304 all-purpose yards, including his rushing statistics on offense.

In Week 12 against the Texans, Davis returned a kickoff from the three-yard-line all the way into Houston’s end zone for a 97-yard score. This happened with just under two minutes left of the first half when Buffalo was down 13-9.

Davis’ 30.4 yards per kick return ranked first in the NFL.

“It’s a blessing. It’s an honor just to show the hard work that I was able to put in throughout the summer, throughout the offseason,” Davis said. “A season hasn’t been the way that I thought it was going to be, but I had to embrace it and just find a role where these guys could really trust me. It’s a saying that I always love to say, but ‘They tried to write me off, but I chose to never write back.’ And that’s something that I had to just focus on and pay attention to myself, look the guy in the mirror and go, ‘Do you love this sport?’ And if you love it, you’re going to go out there and show it.”
