The Chicago Bears suffered a devastating injury in the second quarter of their wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers on Jan. 10.
And it’s to a former Wisconsin Badger.
Linebacker TJ Edwards sustained a serious leg injury in the second quarter that required him to be carted off the field.
He collided with Christian Watson on a first down play as the Packers wide receiver was making his route across the field.
Edwards played at Wisconsin from 2014-18. He was a first-team All-American in 2017.

Edwards was taken to the locker room and was getting X-rays.
Edwards is in his third season playing for the Bears. He went undrafted in 2019 and played the first four year of his career for the Philadelphia Eagles.
