PRESS CONFERENCE | Luís Castro: “I want the attitude, personality, and heart of Levante UD to be on the pitch”

Luís Castro has appeared before the media in the press conference prior to the match that Levante UD will play tomorrow, Sunday, against RCD Espanyol.
The coach will experience his first home game and has called for the support of the fans to start the match on a positive note: “Ciutat is an important place for us; together we can achieve it.” Castro admits that tomorrow’s match will be different from last weekend’s against Sevilla FC, but he has made it clear what he expects from his team. “I want the attitude, personality, and heart of Levante UD to be on the field,” he stated.
The importance of the match against RCD Espanyol is evident for the granota dressing room, and the coach has acknowledged that the team must be very focused to try to secure the victory. “For us, it is a very important match. We won the last game, but the work is not finished. There is much to do and against a good team, one of the best in LALIGA. We have to be one hundred percent in everything the match will demand,” he pointed out.
Luís Castro has described the match as “a final” and assured that this is how they are approaching it: “If we give it our all, no matter what happens, we will be at peace. Happier or less, depending on the result, but at peace with the work we have done. That is the most important thing.”
