Lucky residents across Teesside and North East won £1,000 per ticket in the People’s Postcode Lottery draw from January 3 to 9

Residents in several North East postcodes have kicked off 2026 on a high note, scooping wins in the Postcode Lottery. Among the lucky locations were streets in Middlesbrough and Billingham, where locals bagged prizes within the first few days of the new year.
The People’s Postcode Lottery, which contributes to charity through its subscriptions, reveals daily prizes for postcodes nationwide. At least 33% from each ticket is donated to charity, with players having raised over £950 million for more than 9,000 charities and good causes since 2005.
