One Battle After Another’s Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at this evening’s Golden Globes, as he continues his awards season run. While the star has been dating model Vittoria Ceretti for over two years, the pair chose not to put a spotlight on their romance at the ceremony. DiCaprio walked the red carpet alone, while Ceretti wasn’t seen at the L.A. event.
DiCaprio and Ceretti were first romantically linked in late summer 2023. Despite their serious relationship, they have never attended an awards show together. In December 2025, DiCaprio alluded to why, telling Time his philosophy for maintaining a private life despite being a public figure.

The closest Vittoria Ceretti and Leonardo DiCaprio have gotten to posing together, with DiCaprio passing her at the One Battle After Another world premiere in Hollywood.
“It’s been a balance I’ve been managing my whole adult life, and still I’m not an expert,” he prefaced. “I think my simple philosophy is only get out there and do something when you have something to say, or you have something to show for it. Otherwise, just disappear as much as you possibly can.”
He shared that he began crafting this strategy after Titanic brought him massive fame—and overwhelming attention. “I was like, OK, how do I have a long career?” he recalled. “Because I love what I do, and I feel like the best way to have a long career is to get out of people’s face.”
DiCaprio will be back in the spotlight at the Actors Awards (formerly known as the SAG Awards) on March 1, where he is nominated for Best Male Actor in a Leading Role.
