South East Water: Major incident declared as thousands across Kent and Sussex without water

The list of areas without water
now covers areas across the South East Water area, with issues in Sussex and Hampshire, and most of the supply failures affecting Kent.
Postcodes affected, listed on South East Water’s website, external, are as follows:
Kent
ME13 9AJ Brickfield Lane,
Boughton-under-Blean, Faversham – no water or low pressure after burst main
ME14 4PA Ware Street, Bearsted, Maidstone – a repair needs to be completed and the water main may need to be turned off later
ME15 9UD Loose and surrounding areas – low water or low pressure with water storage reservoirs running low “due to neighbouring water companies being unable to give us the bulk supplies of treated water as they normally do”, the company says
ME17 1XD Hollingbourne, Headcorn,
Ulcombe, Kingswood, Sutton Valence and surrounding areas – intermittent supplies
as reservoir levels regain storage
TN2 3PZ Tunbridge Wells –
intermittent supplies
TN4 8BG Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells – no water or low pressure because of issues at a site providing the supply
TN11 8BA Penshurst, Tonbridge – no water or low pressure
