Ex-New York Giants CB Sam Beal missing for seven months

Former NFL cornerback Sam Beal, selected by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2018 supplemental draft, has been missing since July of 2025, his sister Essence Zhane revealed on social media.
The 29-year-old was last seen dropping off his girlfriend before borrowing her car. Instead of heading to work, he drove to Virginia Beach, spoke to her by phone, promising to return, then vanished, reports TMZ.
Beal’s missing persons profile states he “did not bring anything with him aside from the clothes he was wearing, a pair of slides, and his wallet that contained his banking card and driver’s license,” and that the “vehicle was found with Samuel’s shoes and socks on the floor of the front passenger seat along with some sand on the floor.”
He took no belongings beyond the clothes he wore, slides, and a wallet containing his ID and banking card.
The vehicle was later recovered with Beal’s shoes, socks, and sand on the passenger floor.
Zhane stated the family has exhausted all leads and desperately needs public help for answers or closure.
After starring at Western Michigan University, Beal played three seasons with the Giants, recording 27 tackles (21 solo, one for a loss), one pass defensed, and one safety before opting out in 2020 and being released in 2021.
Authorities ask anyone with information to contact Kenwood Police at (616) 698-6580 or Virginia Beach Police at (757) 385-4141.
