Kai Cenat Says ‘I Quit’ While Announcing New Clothing Line

Kai Cenat has announced “I quit” in a lengthy video that serves as an announcement for his new clothing brand.

On Tuesday (Jan. 13), the popular streamer shared a 23-minute YouTube video of that title that opens with him making an announcement that’s sure to shock his fans — if he’s serious.

“I feel like sometimes, people need to self-reflect and take a step back from the broad perspective of what their life has been,” he said. “I believe that there is more to the world than is much greater than myself. The energy and passion to want to do more and create is within me. That’s why I quit.”

“Thinking in my head of the goals I want to achieve and not achieving them because I’m only known for one thing,” he continued, a statement that seems to imply that he’s at least considering giving up streaming.

Moments later, he started quitting other things, too.

“I quit overthinking,” he said. “I quit staying in my head about the goals I have and if I pursue them, whether they are going to work or not. I want to push limits to see what I can truly create in life.”

In another part of the video, Cenat linked up with his mother to talk about how he’s currently feeling.

“I’ve achieved so much and I’ve been able to knock down goals I’ve always wanted to do, and my mindset in my head it’s a lot of self doubt. I’m not depressed, I’m not sad, I’m just having a lot of self-doubt.”

After his stirring chat with his mother, Cenat goes on to show his passion for creating clothes. In this section of the video, he travels to Italy and even announces his own clothing brand, Vivet. He shows the process of sewing and creating denim, giving people a glimpse at what he plans to give the world. Cenat’s announcement comes weeks after he spread awareness about his mental health. He hopped on X after revealing that he felt like he needed to “speak up.”

“I’m not sad, I’m not depressed, but I need to bring awareness to mental health after some of the feedback I’ve been seeing,” he said.

“As I was very consistent in streaming there were certain times I realized that I was losing touch of reality,” Cenat said in a follow-up tweet. “I needed to take a step back and fully reset. I started to realize I wasn’t even spending time with close friends and family behind the scenes as much as I wanted to.”

A week prior to that, he posted a video saying that his mental health issues were due to “self-doubt and fear of pursuing my goals.”
