Eagles sign 3 players to future deals

The Eagles signed three players to future deals: tight end E.J. Jenkins, tackle John Ojukwu, and running back Carson Steele.
Philadelphia has now signed 11 players to future contracts after inking eight on Monday.
TE E.J. Jenkins
Jenkins signed with the Jets after going undrafted out of Georgia Tech in 2023. The tight end first joined Philadelphia’s practice squad in the 2023 and spent the entire 2024 and 2025 seasons with the Eagles. He has played in 10 games for the Birds, two this past season, taking his only NFL catch for a touchdown.
T John Ojukwu
Ojukwu did not get drafted out of Bosie State in 2023, but he signed with the Titans’ practice squad. In three seasons in Tennessee, Ojukwu played in 16 games and made nine starts.
RB Carson Steele
Steele joined the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2024. He played in 17 games as a rookie, making three starts, and ran for 183 yards on 56 carries. Steele, who also played fullback at times, spent the 2025 season on Kansas City’s practice squad. — Written by Matt Ryan
