Patriots legend to join ‘The Great American Baking Show’ for Super Bowl-themed episode

Ann Michael Maye isn’t the only one rolling up her sleeves for a cooking show.
Former Patriot Julian Edelman will join “The Great American Baking Show” next month for a Super Bowl-themed episode.
Edelman posted the trailer to his X account Tuesday evening, adding “Coming to a tent near you.”
Edelman will go up against former Los Angeles Charger Antonio Gates, former Washington Commander Von Miller and ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes.
“The competition is tight,” Edelman said in the trailer. “You’ve got to bring your A-game, because they certainly are.”
The trailer features plenty of friendly jabs, including a quip from Miller about how the “Patriots never knew how to lose.”
Edelman says early in the trailer that he’s not out for blood, he’s “out for chocolate,” and that he signed up for the show just to taste all the bakes.
In the final three seconds of the trailer, Edelman drops a Deflategate joke as he presents football-themed eclairs to the judges.
“They’re fully inflated,” Edelman said with a smile.
The single-episode baking competition will air Sunday, Feb. 1, on the Roku Channel. It will feature the beloved hosts of “The Great British Baking Show,” Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, along with hosts Casey Wilson and Andrew Rannells.
