Birmingham City are being linked with an ambitious move for Danish striker August Priske.

Blues are in the market for attacking reinforcements and Priske’s name has been thrown into the frame by Danish outlet Tipsbladet.

The striker is certainly in demand after a stellar season for Swedish club Djurgårdens IF in the Allsvenskan which saw him score 18 goals in 27 matches to win the Golden Boot.

Priske, 21, was on the books of Danish sides FC Midtjylland and Copenhagen during his youth before taking the leap to Sweden in 2024 with Djurgårdens.

Blues have scouted the Allsvenskan extensively and pursued a deal for Mjällby AIF winger Abdoulie Manneh before it fell through earlier this week.

BirminghamLive hasn’t been able to corroborate whether Blues are actively pursuing Priske, or whether it’s just interest at this stage, and the Tipsbladet report claims big clubs on the continent, including Besiktas and Lille, have tracked the striker.

Standing at 6ft 4ins, Priske is said to have ‘impressive speed’ and received the award as Allsvenskan Forward of the Year 2025.

Blues’ striking department currently consists of nine-goal top scorer Jay Stansfield, Marvin Ducksch and Kyogo Furuhashi.
