But a passenger noticed as Peter got off at his stop in East London last Friday — and swiftly contacted the star couple on Instagram in an attempt to alert them to the lost item.
Model Abbey told the woman: “Oh my God, it’s my birthday tomorrow. Must have been my present.”
The passenger told her it had been handed in to a station.
She also uploaded video evidence of the lost bag on TikTok, joking: “Point of view: Peter Crouch leaves Abbey’s birthday present on the Tube.”

It was not known what Peter bought but Jessica McCormack sells items costing as much as £305,000.
And it was unknown if the gift was recovered in time for Abbey’s 40th last Saturday.
A rep for the couple was contacted for comment.
Despite the mishap, Abbey praised Peter for taking her to Paris for a surprise getaway with her nearest and dearest on her big day.
She wrote on Instagram yesterday: “What a weekend. I feel so, so loved.
“Thank you to my amazing husband.”
