Mark Fletcher Jr. throws punch at Indiana player, hugs Fernando Mendoza after national championship

MIAMI GARDENS, FL — There’s a lot of emotion in the wake of a hard-fought College Football Playoff national championship game. Miami running back Mark Fletcher Jr. ran the gamut after Indiana’s 27-21 win over the Hurricanes.

Soon after, he threw a punch at IU’s Tyrique Tucker. It’s unclear what prompted Fletcher.
