In recently revealed solicit information, Marvel confirmed that the new Infernal Hulk will battle the One Above All – the supreme being of the Marvel multiverse. The One Above All is the creator and protector of the entire Marvel multiverse, with omnipotent power over existence.

Recently, Bruce Banner’s gamma powers were stolen by the demonic being known as Eldest. While Bruce went off to live a normal life, Eldest became the Infernal Hulk and declared their intent to begin a new Age of Monsters.
So far, the Infernal Hulk has raised up several ancient monsters, having eaten and taken the powers of the Mother of Horrors, Vinruviel. While the Avengers prepare to fight back, it turns out a much bigger power will be stepping in first.
Why the One Above All Is Attacking Hulk

Traditionally, the One Above All doesn’t take sides in any naturally-occurring battle, even those that destroy entire realities. However, fans recently learned that Vinruviel was the first being to exist outside the One Above All’s control. Indeed, a fight between the two – infecting the One Above All’s holy blood – is what first created gamma energy.
It therefore makes sense that the One Above All is prepared to personally face the Infernal Hulk when the supreme being has previously ignored Galactus, Kang the Conqueror and even Thanos. However, the Infernal Hulk’s gamma also makes them the one villain who might be able to hurt Marvel’s god.
Marvel’s God Can Never Be the Same After This

The One Above All has long been a deeply mysterious character whose motivations are basically unknown – all fans know is that it finds “the mystery” of Marvel lore “intriguing.” The One Above All seemed both unfathomable and unbeatable, concerned with the totality of existence rather than just the events of Earth-616.
Now, Infernal Hulk is dragging the One Above All into a one-on-one fight, and the character will never be the same again. The story can’t help but place limitations on this previously omnipotent being, and if the Infernal Hulk wins, the One Above All will cease to be the final word in power and become just another godlike being.

Likewise, while this Hulk may not be Bruce Banner, they’ll be using the original Hulk’s body to literally beat up God, showing that his powers are even more vast than even the most ambitious fans have speculated.
It’s an exciting development, as the One Above All engaging with the Infernal Hulk promises to flesh out a character who has long existed on the very fringes of Marvel lore, revealing that far from the multiverse being the OAA’s perfect plan, there are factions and even individuals who can change the game.
