Meghan Markle Calls Princess Lilibet “Mama’s Little Helper” in a New Post

Watching a parent get all dolled up for a night out is a rite of passage for many children. Trying to walk in heels that are several sizes too big, attempting (unsuccessfully) to learn how to tie a tie, sneaking a smudge of lipstick when nobody’s watching… it’s like playing dress up with dolls, only better. Particularly when you’re Princess Lilibet, with access to Duchess Meghan’s walk-in closet.
In a new photo shared to her Instagram, Meghan was seen smiling into a full-length mirror, wearing a lilac set that jumped out amongst the neutral hues of the surrounding racks. She appeared to be getting dressed for the evening, with several suiting options and various pairs of black heels framing the photo. Underfoot, the little princess sat on the closet floor, facing her mother to (perhaps) help fasten her shoes.
At four years old, Lilibet’s red hair has been growing, and here, it was pulled back with a vibrant red scrunchie. Her little ruffle long-sleeve and matching bottoms were the perfect color match to the accessory, as she knelt barefoot on the carpet.
“Mama’s little helper,” Meghan captioned the photo.
This was not the first time that the young royal helped the duchess with her day-to-day activities. Meghan has been known to share sweet glimpses into her life with Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, gardening outside, cooking in the kitchen, and even hanging out in the chicken coop. Back in March, she captioned behind-the-scenes images from a shoot for her brand, As Ever, with a similar sentiment to today’s post—showing her kids running around her as she prepared flower bouquets.
