The San Antonio Spurs are headed to Houston tonight to face their interstate rivals, the Rockets. Both are jockeying for top spots in the crowded Western Conference, where the Spurs sit at No. 2 (30-13), and the Rockets are at No. 5 (25-15).
The Texas rivals faced off once this season, during November’s NBA Cup Group Stage, when the Spurs won 121-110. The Rockets will have home-court advantage, but they’ll be without Steven Adams after the star center suffered an ankle sprain against the Pelicans on Sunday. Adams’ absence is especially noteworthy since the Spurs’ center Victor Wembanyama has been on lately with 24.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game this season.

How to Watch Spurs vs. Rockets Game Online
Tonight’s Spurs vs. Rockets game is airing on NBC. If you don’t have cable, I recommend checking out Sling. It’s one of our editors’ favorite live TV streaming solutions, offering very affordable packages with curated channel lineups (instead of bulky, expensive packages).
The most affordable Sling plan that carries NBC is Select, which technically starts at $19.99 a month but will cost $29.99+ per month where local channels are available. If you want more channels, there’s also Sling Blue ($50.99/month) and Sling Orange + Blue ($65.99/month).
For basketball fans, I’d suggest the top-tier Orange + Blue plan because it includes local channels and ESPN. Plus, Sling is currently offering a discount on Orange + Blue that cuts your first month’s bill in half.
Sling also offers a Sports Extra add-on that includes NBA TV and starts at $11 a month.
