Barcelona finally agree deal for Hamza Abdelkarim with Al-Ahly

Barcelona have reportedly finally come to an agreement with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahly for talented young star Hamza Abdelkarim.
The two clubs have been in negotiations for some time, and the deal did appear to have stalled, but it seems it’s been revived and a loan is now close to completion, according to Diario Sport.
Barcelona are expected to pay 3 million euros plus another five in variables to bring Abdelkarim in on loan for the rest of the 2025-26 season. Abdelkarim is expected to extend his contract with Al-Ahly before heading to Europe and Barcelona.
Abdelkarim will then link up with Juliano Belletti’s Barcelona Atletic side who are also hoping to add a few more players in the January window.
The team are expected to lose Mamadou Mbacke Fall and Andreas Cuenca imminently, meaning defence is likely to be the priority before the window closes at the end of the month.
