Woman Goes Viral for Dr. Pepper Jingle and the Soda Company Uses It for a 2026 Commercial

A woman’s TikTok jingle for Dr. Pepper has gone viral — and national!

TikToker Romeo shared a video on Dec. 23 singing a “theme song” she made up for Dr. Pepper — and a few weeks later, it has popped up in a new official commercial for the soda company that recently aired during a big football game.

In Romeo’s video, she shared her initial tune, singing, “Dr. Pepper baby. It’s good and nice. Doo. Doo. Doo.” Over the video she wrote that she “had to act on this before someone got sent this in a dream and steal it from me, so I impulsively posted this.”

In her caption she tagged the company and noted, “please get back to me with a proposition we can make thousands together.”

The video garnered over 42 million views, five million likes and over 300,000 bookmarks as of Jan. 21. It even caught the attention of Dr. Pepper, which replied, “hold on…. you might be onto something.”

Other brands also played off the bit, including Indeed, which jokingly wrote, “You’re hired.” The Philadelphia Eagles wrote, “I like the do do do part,” while Buffalo Wild Wings joked “yea imma need one of these theme songs right now.”

On Monday, Jan. 19, Dr. Pepper unveiled their new commercial featuring the song with the title “Dr. Pepper Baby (Good & Nice Jingle) by ‪@Romeosshow‬.” In the approximately 15 second commercial, Romeo’s voice could be heard over instrumental beats that emphasized the song lyrics.

The commercial showed off three of the brand’s canned drinks, which included its original, diet and zero sugar offerings as the lyrics for the jingle showed up on the screen. The original Dr Pepper could be seen being poured into a glass during one clip that showed off the drink’s fizziness.

The brand captioned the video, “A song written by ‪@Romeosshow‬ about the 23 flavors of Dr Pepper? It’s a Pepper thing.”

The commercial was even shown during the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship game on Jan. 19 — something which Romeo celebrated on TikTok on the same day. She shared a video clip of herself in front of a green screen of a theater as someone could be heard saying, “and the award for best national championship commercial about Dr Pepper goes to Romeo and Dr Pepper.”

Romeo could then be seen celebrating before grabbing a Dr. Pepper bottle and holding it like a trophy as she thanked her “supporters” and “all of the Dr. Pepper fans” who “rallied together to make this moment happen.” She added that it’s a “big win” to have her jingle featured in a commercial.

In the comments, Dr. Pepper wrote, “this speech gets a 23 hour standing ovation from us 👏.” Other people offered their congratulations including TikTok, which wrote, “all of TikTok knew that jingle was special the second you posted it 😭🥹.”

Several people also took screenshots of the commercial on their TV and congratulated Romeo on the feat, including one person who wrote, “Girl you famous famous!!!🥰🥰🥰.”
