AEW forced to change plans for Saturday’s Collision

AEW was defeated by Mother Nature when it comes to this Saturday’s AEW Collision event in Arlington, Texas, but revealed an alternate plan.
Announced prior to Dynamite, this Saturday’s show at Esports Stadium has been canceled due to a winter storm that will hit the region with snow and ice. AEW has been running the venue for several weeks as part of a January residency.
The broadcast will still go on this Saturday in its usual spot, however, as they will tape Collision after tonight’s Dynamite in Orlando, Florida. As of now, it’s unknown when the decision was made and if any of the planned card was affected due to the timing of that decision.
The third match has been announced for Collision as Andrade El Idolo will return for his second go-round in his second AEW run as he takes on CMLL’s Magnus.
Current AEW Collision lineup | This Saturday (taped Wednesday)
- TNT Champion Mark Briscoe defends against El Clon
- CMLL Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli defends against Roderick Strong
- Andrade El Idolo vs. Magnus
