‘Invincible’ Season 4 Brings the War Home in March

Things are never easy in the world of Invincible, and last season ended with plenty of bodies and chaos. No surprise, then, that the next season is following the same track and looks to be putting war against the Viltrumites front and center again.
In the new trailer, we see Mark working tirelessly to defend Earth after he’s fought his evil alt-universe doppelgangers and headbutted Conquest into a pulp. With his “no-kill” rule out the window and several limbs reinforced by Robot’s tech, he’s coming apart at the seams, and he’s not the only one: Eve’s powers are on the fritz, the Guardians of the Globe are adjusting to new members, and Alan and Omni-Man have finally returned to Earth. The Graysons have their issues, but they’ll have to put everything right before the Viltrum Empire returns to the planet.
Speaking of them, our big new Viltrumite baddie for this season is Lee Pace’s Grand Regent Thragg. He’s a big deal in the comics, and the trailer knows it by giving him the last line. We only get a little of him here, we also get a look at the season’s new threats on Earth, Dinosaurus (Matthew Rhys) and Universa (Danai Gurira). They’ll all give Mark and friends a run for their money alongside demons from Hell and any bad guys coming back from previous seasons.
Invincible season four will hit Prime Video on March 18. Look for season five to fly in sometime in 2027, if all goes to plan.
