Warriors’ Kuminga leaves game vs. Mavericks, ruled out with injury

The Warriors forward left Thursday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks with left knee soreness and was ruled out to return, the team announced.
Kuminga, who made his first appearance since Dec. 18 on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors, scored ten points in nine minutes vs. Dallas.
The 23-year-old requested a trade from the Warriors last week and has seen limited playing time this season, recording several healthy DNPs. Kuminga is averaging 12.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season.
Kuminga signed a two-year deal with the Warriors in the off-season, the second year being a team option.
The Warriors were 25-20 heading into Thursday’s game, 8th in the Western Conference.
