Lafayette, Indiana shooting: 5 arrested after Tippecanoe Judge Steven Meyer, wife, Kimberly shot in Mill Pond Lane home

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLS) — Five people are in custody in connection with the shooting of an Indiana judge and his wife, police said.

The five are charged with multiple felonies ranging from attempted murder to obstruction of justice.

Three of the suspects are from Lafayette. Two are from Lexington, Kentucky.

Police identified the suspects as: 38-year-old Raylen Ferguson, of Lexington; 43-year-old Thomas Moss, of Lafayette; 32-year-old Blake Smith, of Lafayette, 45-year-old Amanda Mislap, of Lafayette; and 61-year-old Zedana Greer, of Lexington.

Tippecanoe County Judge Steven Meyer and his wife were both hurt in the shooting inside their Lafayette home on Sunday.

Lafayette police have not released details about the motive behind the attack.

The judge and his wife are said to be improving.
