Alabama high school football: See new 6A teams after split of public, private schools

AHSAA Super 7 Class 7A Football Championship
With the AHSAA’s decision to separate private and public schools in reclassification, Class 6A is now the largest public school classification in the state.
Among the members of the new-look Class 6A who were in 7A last season are defending football champion Thompson, runner-up Opelika and Mary G. Montgomery.
However, there is some shakeup in Region 4 as Buckhorn, Gadsden City and Hazel Green make a jump.
Here is a look at all the teams in the new Class 6A. These are the teams in Class 1A, Class 2A, Class 3A, Class 4A, Class 5A, and private school divisions.
