Kansas to Host ESPN College GameDay Jan 31 – University of Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kan. – ESPN announced Saturday morning that College GameDay covered by State Farm will broadcast live at Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday, Jan. 31 in advance of the BYU at Kansas matchup.

The one-hour ESPN College GameDay show will begin at 10 a.m. (Central) with tipoff for the KU-BYU contest slated for 3:30 p.m. (Central), also on ESPN. Details for the Jan. 31 College GameDay show will be released early next week.

Kansas will be the second on-site location for ESPN College GameDay for the 2025-26 season as the show originated from Lubbock, Texas, on Jan. 24 for the Big 12 matchup between Houston and Texas Tech.

ESPN College GameDay is hosted by Rece Davis and features Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, Andraya Carter, and Seth Greenberg.

This will mark the 13th time that ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast from historic Allen Fieldhouse, which Davis has described as “the best place to see a game on the planet.” KU’s 13th time hosting is tied with North Carolina for second most, trailing only Duke (14). Additionally, Kansas is 10-2 when hosting ESPN College GameDay with only Syracuse (4-0), Texas (3-0), and Tennessee (3-0), having a better record as host (minimum three games).

The KU-BYU contest will mark the 24th time the Jayhawks will be featured on ESPN College GameDay during the regular-season. KU’s 24th appearance is the third most trailing Duke (30) and North Carolina (29). Kansas is 15-8 in its previous regular-season appearances.
