Recent history

The Seahawks and Rams played a remarkably even season series. LA won at home 21-19 on Nov. 16, while Seattle came back to win 38-37 in overtime on Dec. 18 at Lumen Field. Combining the two games, there’s only a single point of difference – in the Rams’ favor. But the Seahawks have won eight straight since losing their first matchup with the Rams.

In the postseason, the Rams narrowly beat both fourth-seeded Carolina 34-31 in the wild card round and second-seeded Chicago 20-17 in the divisional round. The Seahawks throttled San Francisco 41-6 in a divisional game after their bye through the wild card round.

Playoff history

This will be the third postseason meeting between the NFC West rivals, with Los Angeles victorious in Seattle both times. The Rams won 27-20 to end the 2004 Seahawks’ season, and knocked off the Hawks 30-20 in a wild card game in January 2021.
