2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series Packs 685 HP

Cadillac Formula 1 is entering its first home race weekend in Miami, and on Friday, it revealed a special road car model to mark the occasion: the 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series. And this Caddy is more than just a fancy paint job; it’s the most powerful production Blackwing yet.

Limited to just 26 cars, this special edition goes heavy on the appearance changes on top of the (admittedly minor) bump in performance over a standard Blackwing. Cadillac says an upgraded supercharger developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports raises output up to 685 horsepower and 673 pound-feet of torque, 17 horses and 14 lb-ft of torque more than the regular Blackwing model. Cadillac doesn’t detail any acceleration or top speed figures, but the F1 Collector Series certainly has bragging rights.

This special edition won’t be lacking anywhere else either, as all 26 cars will come with the Precision Package. And in case you wanted one with the optional 10-speed auto, sorry, because the six-speed manual is also required.

The appearance changes are quite extensive, and there are no substitutions or options. Every example will be painted in Midnight Stone Frost. Carbon Flash Metallic wheels are fitted; the calipers are painted in Harbor Gray Metallic, and there’s plenty of carbon fiber all around, accented by a silver pinstripe. All the badging is glossy black, too, completing the monochromatic look. Yes, it’s completely devoid of color, but the look is meant to mimic the monochrome styling of Cadillac’s F1 car.

One of the coolest design touches is the “F1” logo stamped into the front doors. Cadillac says it’s using a new process called “autocraft” to stamp the official F1 logo in. You’ll see lots of official F1 and FIA badging throughout: both logos are on the rear spoiler; “FIA” is on the carbon rocker covers; the sill plates read “Cadillac Formula 1 Team.” And a unique CNC-machined supercharger cover has the F1 logo on it.

Look inside, and you’ll notice “F1” embossed on the headrests. The center console has an FIA logo, and the shift knob has a 3D-printed F1 logo on it. Cadillac went with a simplistic interior colorway, keeping black leather seats and injecting a touch of contrast with white stitching and white seat piping.

Cadillac says this model will only be sold in the U.S. and Canada, with production scheduled to begin in mid-2026. There isn’t a price yet, but expect it to be much higher than the standard Blackwing’s $102,795 starting point.

A Michigan-born car nut and racing enthusiast, Zac Palmer is talking about or thinking about cars somewhere. He bought his first when he was still 15, a 2001 Acura Integra GS-R that still resides in the garage today. It’s now joined by a 2004 Porsche Boxster S, and there will be even less practical additions to follow. Palmer worked at both Autoweek and Autoblog before joining R&T.
