Actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie light up Milano Cortina 2026 torch relay with pure joy

Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, stars of the television series Heated Rivalry, were overcome with emotion after carrying the Olympic Flame for Milano Cortina 2026 on Sunday, 25 January.
The actors, who play rival ice hockey players on screen, brought a touch of Hollywood to the Olympic Torch Relay, carrying the flame on the 49th leg of the torch relay in the late afternoon in the town of Feltre.
The duo fully embraced the moment, smiling and waving enthusiastically to onlookers lining the road.
Heated Rivalry is a series that has been very successful in the countries where it has been broadcast so far. It was created by award-winning Canadian screenwriter, director and producer Jacob Tierney and tells the story of ice hockey players Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie). The two are among the most famous hockey players of their generation, rivals but at the same time united by an ever-deeper bond. Together they pursue glory on the ice and at the same time struggle to manage their feelings outside the competition.
The series also stars François Arnaud, Robbie G.K., Christina Chang, Dylan Walsh, Sophie Nélisse and Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova.
In Italy, Heated Rivalry will be broadcast from February on HBO Max, which is also one of the Official Olympic Rights Media Holders that will offer all the excitement of Milano Cortina 2026 live and on-demand.
