Browns QB Shedeur Sanders added to the Pro Bowl as a replacement
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Shedeur Sanders’ tumultous 2025 season is ending with a trip to the Pro Bowl games.
Sanders, who went 3-4 in his seven starts as a rookie, was added to the Pro Bowl roster Monday as a replacement. The AFC’s Pro Bowl quarterbacks were Drake Maye, Josh Allen and Justin Herbert.
Maye is going to the Super Bowl, and the other two are nursing injuries.
Three other possible replacements are also injured in Bo Nix, Patrick Mahomes and Daniel Jones.
The Browns’ fifth-round pick out of Colorado, Sanders completed 56.6% of his passes for 1,400 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His 68.1 rating was 49th in the NFL.
He’s the first Browns quarterback since Derek Andersen in 2008 to go to the Pro Bowl.
In the NFC, Jared Goff has been added to the Pro Bowl roster in place of Sam Darnold.
