Akon And Ne-Yo Announce UK, European And North American Dates For Co-Headline Nights Like This Tour
Akon and Ne-Yo will hit the road together this spring on the Nights Like This Tour.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and producer from Camden, Arkansas and multi-platinum singer-songwriter, rapper and producer from St. Louis, Missouri will co-headline shows at Dublin’s 3Arena, Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena, Co-op Live in Manchester, Birmingham’s Utilita Arena and The O2 in London between April 27 and May 8.
They’ll then travel across mainland Europe between May 12 and 31, kicking things off at the Accor Arena in Paris and concluding the run at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland.
The North American leg of the tour will begin on June 17 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, with dates running through to August 21, when it will wrap up at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome.
Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (January 30).
Last year saw Akon collaborate with a number of artists, the latest being Ma p’tite Prison with Jul, and Boom Body with Shaggy and Aidonia. His last album was 2019’s ‘El Negreeto’, which he followed up with some EPs and a 20th anniversary edition of his debut album ‘Trouble’ in 2024.
Ne-Yo, meanwhile, released his latest album, ‘Self Explanatory’, in 2022. Since then, he’s put out a number of standalone singles, the most recent Writings On The Wall with Anselmo Ralph in December and his own Simple Things in November.
