Swim & Dive Falls To Northeastern In CAA Regular Season Finale

BOSTON, Mass. – Stony Brook swimming and diving matched up against Northeastern today in a CAA clash in Beantown, falling to the Huskies 178-98.

The Seawolves still recorded four event wins during the dual meet, with wins coming from Carson Kien, Pelagia Chazov, Elaine Liu, and the team of Kien, Michelle Vu, Avari Wischhof, and Alanna DePinto in a relay event.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Kien won the 200-yard butterfly (2:10.12).
  • Chazov won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:25.95).
  • Elaine Liu finished first in the 100-yard IM (59.82).
  • Kien, Vu, Wischhof, and DePinto placed first in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:41.10).

UP NEXT
The Seawolves will return to University Pool for their final tune-up before championship season, taking on Rhode Island next Saturday, January 31, at 1 pm. The meet will also serve as this year’s Senior Day celebration for Stony Brook.
