Tommaso Ciampa comes face-to-face with Mark Briscoe after his Dynamite win.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a big TNT Championship match, as Mark Briscoe put up the title against El Clon. This was a return home for the TNT Championship, as the belt was last defended on an episode of Dynamite back in October 2025. This was also Briscoe’s first singles match on Dynamite since September 2025, when he defeated Lance Archer.
Briscoe was able to retain after a hard-fought contest. After the match, he laid out another open challenge for Saturday’s episode of Collision before the lights in the arena went out.
Moments later, Tommaso Ciampa appeared to a major reaction from the crowd. Ciampa walked down to the ring and went face-to-face with Briscoe. The match was then confirmed for Collision.

This is Ciampa’s first wrestling-related appearance since announcing his departure from WWE earlier this month.
Briscoe’s reign with the TNT Championship now sits at the 68 day mark. Since defeating Kyle Fletcher for the title, ‘Chicken’ has defended against other names like Daniel Garcia and Hechicero.
