Kathryn Hahn Reflects on Surreal Golden Globes Win and Teases Season 2 of ‘The Studio’

At last year’s Golden Globe Awards, Seth Rogen graced the stage with Catherine O’Hara to announce the winner of a category — but not before riffing about the glitzy ceremony’s utter importance.

A year later, Rogen, 43, returned to the same stage on a more serious note, this time to actually accept a trophy for his show that also stars O’Hara, 71. Talk about a “full-circle moment.”

Another standout actress from The Studio is Kathryn Hahn, who recently opened up to Parade about her red-hot Apple TV series. And to see it win big at the 2026 Golden Globes — where she was also featured as a presenter — was quite the experience, as Hahn, 52, revealed to us.

“My schedule was a little bananas, so… I literally came in to present, which was so fun, and then I got in a car and went home and watched The Studio win on TV with my family,” Hahn told Parade. “So it was the weirdest — I was, like, half there, half here [at home]. It was, like a real trip to just have a [veggie burger] in my hands and watch The Studio win while I was just having been there. Yeah, it definitely was a trippy moment.”

As fans can attest, Hahn uses the word “trippy” since there’s an episode in The Studio that’s set entirely at a Globes ceremony. The Agatha All Along star also described the whole experience back on Jan. 11 as “so surreal.” Meanwhile, she also teased what’s to come in season 2 of The Studio and the world of possibilities that Hollywood brings.

“The second season coming up. I’ve heard bits and pieces,” Hahn told Parade. “There’s a wealth of subject matter that we can still go [into]. I mean, you know, all of it in this business — there’s a deep, deep well of material, so I’m very excited for everyone to see season 2. I haven’t read a lot of it either, so I’m very excited.”
