Women’s Senior National Kabaddi Championship 2026: Haryana wins title – all results and scores

The Women’s Senior National Kabaddi Championship 2026 concluded at the Balayogi Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday with Haryana beating last year’s winners Indian Railways 39-37 in the final to claim the title.
Nikita emerged as the standout performer for Haryana in the final, leading the scoring with 17 points.
Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, the two losing semi-finalists, were awarded bronze medals at the nationals.
The 72nd Women’s Senior National Kabaddi Championship, which ran from January 27 to 30, featured 28 kabaddi teams going head-to-head for the title.
The tournament, which also served as an important selection marker ahead of the Asian Games 2026 scheduled later this year in Japan, saw a total of 378 players, including several members of India’s Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025-winning squad, take part.
Following the league stage and pre-quarterfinals, Indian Railways, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh progressed to the quarter-finals.
Indian Railways, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh eventually emerged as the semi-finalists.
In the first semi-final, Indian Railways continued their consistent run with a 46-28 win over Tamil Nadu. Pooja led the scoring for Railways with 11 points.
The second semi-final saw Haryana edge past Himachal Pradesh 35-29, with Nikita, who was also Haryana’s top-scorer in the final, leading the charge with 13 points.
At the 71st Women’s Senior National Kabaddi Championship 2025, Indian Railways defeated Himachal Pradesh in the final to clinch the title.
