Fans of The Masked Singer believe they have worked out who is inside the Red Panda costume on the ITV show.
The colourful character has kept viewers guessing, with fans desperate to work out which celeb is inside. Names such as comedian Alan Carr, TV star Jeff Brazier, and Bros’ Luke Goss have been in the mix, but many viewers now think they’ve uncovered that it’s Simon Le Bon.
The show’s judges, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, and Maya Jama, have all had different thoughts, but when Jonathan suggested it was the Duran Duran star, fans jumped on it.
One posted on Reddit: “After officially hearing Red Panda sing tonight, I actually think Jonathan might be on to something, and I think it might be Simon Le Bon, and here are some of the clues that may lead to him from this week and last week when they posted his first VT on Instagram.”

They continued that the four bon bon sweet bowls clue could be a nod to the four members of Duran Duran, adding: “Roger Moore: Duran Duran wrote the theme song A View To A Kill for the James Bond film of the same name.
“Hero references: Their song Hungry Like The Wolf was featured on the Modern Heroes Album. Rio street links to the album Rio by the band.”

The fan also thought the “baby dummies” clue could be connected to the Duran Duran song Cry Baby Cry.
Another viewer chimed in: “We all know how tenuous the clues are, but… I think the howl was a Hungry Like The Wolf reference too.
“Simon Le Bon recently became a grandad, maybe why the dummy was shown?”
Someone else commented: “I was a huge Duranie back in the day, and a lot of the clues do point to Simon Le Bon… except there have been ones that IMO sound like it couldn’t be him, eg, working on his own as well as a team. Simon did any solo work, did he?”

Another viewer suggested that if it was the pop star, “he could be singing badly on purpose to disguise it as him”.
“However, I agree that the clues are way too obvious,” they said. “Because of the clues being blatant Duran Duran references, a part of me is wondering if it is someone connected to the band in some way, but they are making us think it is Simon to throw us off whoever it really is.”
