Leafs’ Rielly exits against Canucks with upper-body injury

Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly will not return to Saturday’s contest against the Vancouver Canucks after exiting with an upper-body injury.
The 31-year-old blueliner was ruled out for the remainder of the contest prior to the start of the third period.

Rielly logged 12:34 of ice time before making his departure, tallying one blocked shot while recording a minus-two rating.
The Vancouver native has made 53 appearances for Toronto this season, his 13th in the National Hockey League, posting seven goals and 24 assists for 31 points.
Entering play on Saturday, the Maple Leafs had lost six consecutive games and occupy last place in the Atlantic Division.
